Project Overview
Project Overview
Foundri, a forward-thinking automotive technology company, sought to revolutionize the way dealerships manage and move aging inventory. Their vision was to create a seamless dealer-to-dealer platform that facilitates the redistribution of 30–90-day stale inventory, effectively transforming unsold vehicles into sales opportunities across a trusted network. To bring this vision to life, Foundri partnered with WebArtDesign to develop a custom application that not only connects multiple dealerships but also integrates a dealer-to-customer platform, providing real-time inventory access and enhancing sales capabilities.
Problem Statement
Dealers lose money every day a vehicle goes unsold. Once a unit hits the 30-day mark it starts eroding margin; after 90 days it’s often wholesaled at a loss. The lack of an efficient, secure, and user-friendly platform for inter-dealership inventory exchange meant that many dealerships were missing out on opportunities to optimize their stock levels and meet customer demands promptly. Meanwhile, potential retail buyers can’t see beyond a single dealership’s limited stock, leading to missed sales and poor customer experience. Dealers needed a faster, low-friction way to redistribute aging units and expose them to retail shoppers without the cost of carrying more inventory.
Solutions
To address these challenges, WebArtDesign developed a comprehensive, custom-built application tailored to Foundri’s innovative approach. The solution includes:
- Dealer-to-Dealer Platform: A secure, encrypted system that allows dealerships to list and access aging inventory across a network of vetted partners, facilitating efficient redistribution and reducing holding times.
- Dealer-to-Customer Interface: An integrated platform enabling dealerships to showcase available inventory directly to customers, enhancing visibility and expanding market reach.
- Intelligent Search Functionality: Advanced search features that allow users to find vehicles matching specific criteria, streamlining the sales process and improving customer satisfaction.
- Mobile Accessibility: A responsive design ensuring that sales teams can access and manage inventory on-the-go via mobile devices, increasing flexibility and responsiveness.
